Breeding in CFA

The CFA is one of the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats. The CFA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote recognized cat breeds, maintain a breed registry, and improve the status and welfare of cats.

The CFA’s Central Office is located in Alliance, Ohio, from where all official pedigrees, registration certificates, and other documents are distributed worldwide.

The CFA has uniform rules regarding breeding – breeders worldwide register their kittens under the same conditions. The CFA’s breeding rules can be found in full on the CFA’s website.
